Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Why
XDA covered Relay on 1 March 2026. That one piece outweighs any amount of
self-publishing — it is a link we cannot give ourselves, from a domain we
cannot outrank, to an audience that does not read vendor sites.
What to do
Build a short list of outlets and authors who have covered Obsidian plugins,
Relay, or end-to-end encrypted tooling, and approach them with the one thing
that is genuinely newsworthy: a collaborative editor for Obsidian where the
server holds only ciphertext, and a security model written to be checked against
a published client.
The client being readable and unminified is the story. It is what lets a writer
verify the claim instead of repeating it.
Constraints
Shield 1.0.0 is source-available and non-compete.
Realistic framing
Relay has a two-year head start, 521 GitHub stars and 208,636 downloads against
our 36. Nothing here closes that in a quarter.
