Why

The highest-leverage single item in the marketing set. Relay's forum thread,
from August 2024, ranks page 1 for "obsidian live collaboration". We have no
thread at all.

It is where the audience already is, it is indexed, and it is the venue where a
plugin announcement is expected rather than tolerated.

What to do

An announcement in the plugin showcase category. Lead with the difference that
is actually ours — end-to-end encryption, the server relays ciphertext it cannot
read — and link /security, which is written to be checked against the client.

Link the directory page (https://community.obsidian.md/plugins/nectenda) and
obsidian://show-plugin?id=nectenda, which opens the plugin inside Obsidian.

Constraints

Do not use the Obsidian logo. Trademark; commercial use requires
contacting them, and their developer policy removes misusing plugins from the
directory. The directory is our distribution.
docs/positioning.md governs every claim — never "open source", never
"audited", and carry "they are broader, we are private."
Plan to answer replies. A thread that is posted and abandoned reads worse than
no thread.
