Why

Searching "obsidian live collaboration" returns Relay, Peerdraft, an archived
Obsidian Hub page and two forum threads. Nectenda appears nowhere.

Deliberately not on our own domain. A comparison on your own site is marking
your own homework, and the value here is the backlink and the mention, not a
page of ours ranking.

The cost is real and should be stated rather than glossed: it gives up the
"obsidian collaboration alternatives" traffic a page on our own domain would
have caught. Ranked 7,463rd by downloads, that is the right trade — authority we do
not have has to be borrowed before it is earned.

Never "open source." Plugin and shared are PolyForm Shield 1.0.0
(source-available, non-compete); server and e2e are proprietary.
Never "audited", never "zero knowledge", never "we store no metadata", never
"more secure than Obsidian Sync", and never claim to be more open than Relay.
Carry the concession: "they are broader, we are private." If someone needs
Canvas collaboration today, Relay is the right answer today, and the piece
should say so.

the open issues to refresh it to 0.8.12 and to stop crediting Relay with RBAC
