What Relay does

Real-time multiplayer for the Kanban community plugin since 0.7.0.

What we do today

A Kanban board is a .md file, so it already syncs as text through
ContentSync. The gap is not sync — it is that the Kanban view does not refresh
when the underlying document changes beneath it, and there is no awareness inside
the board.

What changes

A view-refresh hook and awareness plumbing for third-party views. Smaller than it
sounds, and it generalises: any community plugin rendering a markdown file has
the same problem. Worth building as the general case rather than for Kanban
specifically — which is also what the Plugin API issue in Phase 19 needs.

Risk

Verification

Two vaults with the Kanban plugin installed; a card moved in one appears in the
other without reopening the board.
