What Relay does

Ribbon icon plus command-palette entries (Relay: Open settings,
Relay: Register self-hosted Relay Server) — about eleven commands. Read
21 Sep 2026 from github.com/No-Instructions/Relay.

What we do today

Nothing. grep addCommand packages/plugin/src returns zero hits. No
addRibbonIcon, no registerView, no file-menu or editor-menu items. The
entire UI is one settings tab (main.ts, ~7,250 lines).

A listed plugin with no command-palette entry is an outlier — the palette is how
Obsidian users expect to reach anything, and reviewers notice its absence.

What changes

main.ts only. Commands worth having: share this folder, copy the share link,
show shared-folder members, enter passphrase, open Nectenda settings, sign out,
toggle the diagnostic log. Plus a ribbon icon and right-click actions in the file
explorer, where folder-indicator.ts already decorates shared folders but offers
no actions.

Risk

risk:none. Client-only; the server is untouched.

Verification

Each command is reachable from the palette and does what its name says, exercised
in the real-Obsidian e2e suite rather than asserted from unit tests.
